Based in Palermo, Aterraterra Lab is an association dedicated to exploring the intersection of agriculture, art and activism. Its mission is to catalyze and promote sustainable and ethical practices in agriculture and food culture. The programs supported by the association provide a multidisciplinary platform for dialogue and creation– bringing together artists, researchers, farmers, seed savers, and chefs. Aterraterra Lab’s initiatives include art exhibitions, food performances, residencies for artists and researchers. The association maintains a garden for seed reproduction and a seed library with the aim of deepening and disseminating knowledge and seeds about resistant plants.
